Initiatives to promote more gardening opportunities are underway on the following two fronts.

Community Gardens

There are two community gardens provided by the City of Hamilton, one in Westdale and the other in Dundas. Creation of more gardens will be investigated as demand grows.

Home Gardens

Information, workshops and demonstrations will be provided to encourage and assist local residents in growing their own food.
